Travis Tyson

Travis Tyson, AIA, NCARB, is Director of Architecture and Planning for Cleveland Clinic’s Center for Design. He has been with Cleveland Clinic for over 12 years. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Bowling Green State University studying Architectural and Environmental Design and received his Master of Architecture degree from New Jersey Institute of Technology.

He has over 20 years of experience in architectural planning and design. Mr. Tyson works collaboratively with Cleveland Clinic Leadership overseeing programming, planning and design work throughout all Cleveland Clinic facilities. He has been recognized at Cleveland Clinic for developing Design Standards that have brought consistency across the health system enterprise.

His current role is to lead the Planning and Design team within the Center for Design at the Cleveland Clinic. He leads the collaboration with the Office of Healthy Environment, Art Program, Strategic Space Planning, Buildings & Properties and various other departments and consultants both internally and externally. His team oversees the design and planning of more than 34M square feet of space within the entire Cleveland Clinic Health system.
