Stephanie Williamson

Stephanie is a leader who has worked at a senior level in operations, transformation, programme management and capital projects. She is passionate about transformation, evidence-based design, the healing environment, and the patient experience. Her key skills lie around strategy and implementation, as well as healthcare planning.

She has a Masters in Leadership for Health and Social Care, a post-graduate qualification in Inclusive Environments, and she has graduated from the NHS London Next Generation Director Programme.

In 2014, she became a member of the executive committee of Architects for Health, with the intention of ensuring that the organisation continues to develop as a forum, where all those with a shared interest in campaigning for better environments have a voice regardless of their professional background.

Stephanie is currently deputy director of development at the world-famous Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children, leading a substantial programme of development over the next 10 years to completely remodel the site. This includes the first Centre for Research into Rare Disease in Children, which opened in 2018.
