Jens Axelsson

Jens Axelsson (1986) is an architect at White Arkitekter AB, Gothenburg, Sweden. He has his focus on healthcare architecture and has been working with several hospital projects in Sweden, e.g. the New Hospital in Malmö and the Psychiatric Clinic in Borås (West Sweden). He has also working experience from Germany as design architect for a school campus. Furthermore, Jens is involved in teaching at the department of architecture at Chalmers University, both at bachelor’s and master’s level – focusing on health, well-being and conceptual design. Recently, he has gained interest in wood as a sustainable and healthy material; and if it can contribute to well-being and reduce stress.
