Dr. Cemal Sozener is an Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at the University of Michigan Medical School and received his B.S, M.Eng and M.D. degrees all from the University of Michigan. He completed his residency training in Emergency Medicine at the University of Michigan, where he also served as chief resident. He is currently completing subspecialty fellowship training in the critical care of neurologically injured patients. Dr. Sozener is one of a handful of physicians internationally who is EDAC certified. He has a deep interest in lean-based facility design and has been involved in a number of institutional projects.
