Abraham Jimenez

Abraham Jiménez is an architect (ITESM, México, 2000) and urban designer (Architectural Association, UK, 2007) currently leading the research and development initiatives of Pinearq. His experience combines a mix of architectural design, territorial planning and, research on new technologies applied to the built environment for projects in various countries in Latin-America, Europe, Asia and Africa.

As an architect, he has collaborated in various projects built in Mexico City, London, Tripoli and Rotterdam. His work as urban designer consists of analysis and projects for territorial development in countries like Colombia, Mexico and Kazakhstan; while his research activities have focused on service technologies for Barcelona, Paris, Rio de Janeiro, San Francisco, Lagos and many others cities and metropolitan regions.

Pinearq is a Barcelona based studio with a solid international experience in planning, designing and building health infrastructure in more than 20 countries. The company’s project list comprises hospitals, biomedical research centers, pharmaceutical production plants, educational buildings and residential daycare centers. Abraham’s role in the company is to coordinate the research and implementation of cutting-edge technologies to provide new services in the design, construction and management of these critical infrastructures.
