The recent addition of a concept ward to the company’s industry-renowned Design & Innovation Centre, at its West Midlands-based head offices, seeks to foster greater industry collaboration in ward design and showcase future healthcare innovation.

Supported by a number of leading suppliers and specialists, the facility can be used by the wider industry to test, trial and develop conceptual ideas and innovative solutions. It aims to encourage closer collaborative working among suppliers, nursing management teams, patient representatives, healthcare planners, design groups, and constructors to advance the delivery of world-class buildings and facilities, and help improve healthcare outcomes for all.

The ward is very much a ‘living’ facility, which will change and be adapted as ideas, technology and innovation develops. Visitors to Static Systems’ stand are invited to discuss their challenges or ideas so they can be explored further in the concept ward.
